As a Compliance Support Specialist you will join the operations team as a vital second line of defence, supporting the department head and ensuring the business meets the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
What you’ll be doing as a Compliance Manager:
- Oversee compliance activities across the business to ensure high quality and minimise risk.
- Conduct regular QA and QC audits using a scorecard method, including “Check the Checker” reviews to maintain rigorous standards.
- Identify trends and areas for improvement through detailed thematic analysis
- Lead the process of conducting and reporting on fraud and risk assessments, ensuring robust risk management practices.
What we’d like to see from your application:
- Experience with Consumer Duty, Consumer Credit and FCA Regulations.
- Confidence communicating with colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent communication and key stakeholder management.
- Strong organisational skills and priority management.
- Experience processing privileged and confidential information.
- Qualification in CISI or ICA would be advantageous.
Location: The role offers flexibility with 3 days working in office and 2 days working from home and a half day on Fridays.
The rate on offer: £300 to £400 per day via Umbrella.
Hours: 37.5 hr week.
Duration: Initial 3 month contract - likely to be extended.
