Sue Bartlett leads the Equiniti Hazell Carr team and is responsible for all aspects of our business. Sue maintains close working relationships with our clients and ensures that our operations deliver great services.
Sue joined Equiniti Hazell Carr in 2000 and has held a number of roles with us, including Head of Sales and Business Development Director, before she became our Managing Director in 2016. Prior to this, Sue worked in a variety of technical and advisory roles in the banking and life and pensions sectors.
Sue has successfully delivered projects and services for customers across the financial services and other regulated industries. This experience ranges from short-term resourcing needs through to major outsourcing requirements. Sue takes a very active role in all aspects of our business.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys cycling and interior design.
Since joining Equiniti Hazell Carr in February 2004, George Xenoudakis has worked across an enviable list of our clients, including most of the UK’s major financial organisations.
He’s now responsible for over 20 of our key clients in the banking, life and pensions, and insurance sectors.
Since joining the company, George has been responsible for leading the sales process, account strategy and relationship management for his client portfolio and has played a leading role in securing a number of large resourcing and outsourcing projects.
George joined Equiniti Hazell Carr after nearly a decade in Customer Service and CRM Outsourcing, working for organisations such as ICL/Fujitsu and Vertex, where he was involved in large scale multi-site, multi-channel and multi-lingual projects.
His wealth of knowledge and experience enables him to add real value to Equiniti Hazell Carr's clients. George has a BSc in Marketing and Sales from the American college of Greece and an MSc in Management from the University of Surrey.
He is married with two children.
Anthea Coulter's career began in 1988 for Royal Insurance in the motor claims department. She later transferred to Royal Life, where she worked with IFA's and tied agents (appointed reps) underwriting life risks, providing quotations and suitability checking of advice on fact finds. It was here Anthea realised the importance of building relationships and managing expectations. This grounding assisted Anthea's moves first into complaint handling and then the pensions review, where she led an in-house team and worked in partnership with Equiniti Hazell Carr to deliver a re-work project for Phase 1 of the pensions review. Supporting this experience, Anthea also completed financial planning qualifications.
In line with a strong desire for a customer facing role, Anthea was appointed Relationship Manager at Zurich Financial Services in 2003, where she built up strong and solid relationships with key customers. Having not lost touch with Equiniti Hazell Carr, and wanting to enhance her career path further, Anthea joined the team in 2011 and now looks after 30 key accounts.
Here, her operational experience together with her regulatory knowledge means she firmly understands clients’ needs and delivers on outcomes.
Anthea is happily married to Nigel and has a daughter and step son.
With over 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry, Simon Biddlecombe, has worked in sales across all areas of Life and Pensions and also has experience of working in the Mortgage sector.
Simon joined Equiniti Hazell in July 2018 having previously worked for Legal and General for 18 years as a Key Account Director specialising in sales of corporate pensions and DC institutional investments within Legal & General Investment Management to the intermediated market .
Simon has a wealth of knowledge and good experience of working with many employee benefit consultancies, FTSE companies , pension trustees & third party administrators enabling him to add real value to Equiniti Hazell Carr’s clients .
Simon is married with two daughters.
With 20 years' experience, Dan Denyer has worked on a variety of projects from small scale remediation exercises to large scale programs including pension review, endowment review, bank charges and PPI.
In his most recent role Dan was the Head of Customer Services for a large pan European accident and sickness provider and was responsible for managing the outsourced customer services department, claims department and complaints department.
Dan joined Equiniti Hazell Carr in August 2016, but has previously worked with Equiniti Hazell Carr as a contractor on client site in a variety of roles, including working as an adjudicator at the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Dan brings a wealth of hands on experience in operational delivery which gives him a unique insight into the financial services market.
In his spare time Dan enjoys spending time with his partner and three children.
Dave Paton is responsible for all aspects of our resourcing and onboarding activity. He ensures the right candidates are sourced, screened compliantly and that they start on time. Dave is also responsible for maintaining our governance, risk management and business continuity processes.
Dave joined Equiniti Hazell Carr in 2000 and has a variety of operational experience including customer service, remediation, complaints, thematic reviews and administration. He has worked with third party administrators as a pensions manager, set up a major case handling operation for a regulatory body and was responsible for all of our client site operations. Dave became Client Services Director in 2016.
Dave’s progression through the business has given him hands-on experience of outsourced and in-sourced arrangements for customers across the financial services and other regulated industries. Dave works closely with our clients to ensure that all projects are delivered successfully and to a high standard.
In his spare time Dave enjoys spending time with his family as well as attempting to get his golf handicap down
Nicholas Wilshin has been responsible for writing, co-ordinating and managing all of Equiniti Hazell Carr's bids and proposals since 2005.
He is central to the on-boarding of new client projects across the insurance, banking and advisory markets and has a wealth of financial services, resourcing and outsourcing experience to draw upon.
Prior to joining Equiniti Hazell Carr, Nicholas worked for Legal & General, which helped him to develop a strong understanding of financial services products, the regulatory environment and customer services.
Nicholas is a Certified Practitioner of the APMP, which complements an MA from Cardiff University, as well as CII and CIM qualifications.
Nicholas is married and has two young and energetic children.
Anousjka Selders joined Equiniti Hazell Carr in May 2017.
Using her four years' experience in bid writing and project management, Anousjka works closely with Nick Wilshin and the Business Development team to ensure bids are delivered on time and on quality. Demonstrating her skills in bid management, Anousjka recently qualified as APMP Practitioner level. Within Equiniti Anousjka is a recognised advocate of the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) network, focusing on the inclusion of LGBTQ staff.
Prior to Anousjka moving into bid management she worked as a technical author for IBM, writing online documentation for some of their major software products. Additionally, Anousjka took on the role of editor, checking and proofreading her colleagues' work. She also has experience in business administration and Public Relations, and has a keen interest in the English language.
Anousjka is an active member of the Lions Club, which supports local people in need as well as provides international aid. Since starting work in Reading, Anousjka has fundraised for a local homeless shelter.
In her spare time Anousjka enjoys cycling, singing, dancing, reading, and travelling. She lives in Basingstoke with her husband and cats.
Jon Willis brings his 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry to the key role of operations manager at Equiniti Hazell Carr with responsibility for the successful delivery of projects to our clients, including Lloyds Banking Group and HSBC.
Jon has previously worked as a programme office analyst, delivering a robust governance and control methodology throughout the entire delivery capability. Jon was a customer relationship consultant for 11 years working on projects for Abbey, Winterthur Life, Legal & General, St. James’s Place, Lloyds Banking Group, The Live Organisation, Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank, Civil Aviation Authority and ABTA.
With exposure to a variety of roles such as team leader, quality assurance and case handler, Jon has acquired a wealth of knowledge in specialist areas like investments, banking, credit control, complaint handling and project management.
In his spare time Jon likes sports and fitness, plays for local clubs at tennis, badminton and table-tennis and also enjoys running, having run the Reading half marathon 6 times.
Since 2008, when Joel Priest joined the Equiniti Hazell Carr team, he has put his recruitment and resourcing experience to great use. He brings to the table experience as a recruitment consultant for Ranstad, where he looked after the resourcing for their blue chip financial service clients including PwC, KPMG and Ernst and Young.
Joel specialises in graduate resourcing and regulated services and it’s his job to ensure the country’s high calibre graduate specialists join the Equiniti Hazell Carr team.
Joel studied at the University of Reading before embarking on a career within financial services. Outside of work Joel spends most of his time playing in a function band at weddings and corporate events.
With eight years’ experience in recruiting and resourcing and over 15 years of managing people, Jay Carr brings a unique combination of people skills to Equiniti Hazell Carr. With a background in recruiting for such demanding sectors as healthcare and social work as well as working directly in financial services, Jay brings an in-depth understanding of the requirements of specialist resourcing.
Specialising in Graduate resourcing, Jay has a wealth of experience in matching individuals just starting on their career path with engaging roles that help them develop key skills and practical knowledge that they can take throughout their working lives.
Very active in charity work, Jay is a massive advocate for Alzheimer’s Charities and research into Alzheimer’s, and in his spare time he enjoys Airsofting, Live Action Roleplaying and Martial Arts.
Jay lives in Berkshire with his Fiancée and has two grown up children.
Keith Flint has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services arena as an adviser, compliance officer and specialist recruitment partner for executive and senior level posts. He has worked across commercial insurance, mortgage, wealth & investments, risk and compliance, retail and business banking markets for companies such as Alexander Mann Solutions, Royal Sun Alliance, KPMG, Lloyds Banking Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, HSBC, Scottish Widows and Zurich.
Keith’s knowledge and experience of the financial services market adds value and understanding to the delivery of an all-round bespoke recruitment solution which meet his clients and candidates recruitment and business needs. His professional recruitment skills include retained projects, head hunting, psychometric assessment, project management, change management and consultancy.
Outside of work Keith competes in a number of OCR’S (Obstacle course races) such as Spartan, Tough Mudder with his wife, and enters the OCR world championships.
Ian Saunders started his career in Financial Services with Prudential, moving to the Group Pensions area in the mid 1980’s. In 2002 Ian moved to Hazell Carr (subsequently Xafinity and Equiniti) with the outsource of Prudential’s insured Defined Benefit pension administration area.
Within that area he undertook management roles within the Administration , Treasury and Finance Departments. From 2008 Ian was the Pensions Operations Manager in Reading for the outsourced Prudential book.
Ian moved back Equiniti Hazell Carr in 2015, initially to the Business Development Team to head up the pensions desk. This utilised his pensions operations experience in developing the pension recruitment desk. In 2018, Ian moved to an operational role to support our pension and actuarial clients together with resourcing for these markets.
Ian lives in South Oxfordshire with his wife and 2 children.
Lauren Moore joined Equiniti Hazell Carr in March 2014 as Resourcing Administrator and in June 2016 Lauren became responsible for the Screening and Audit functions. Since joining Equiniti Hazell Carr Lauren has established herself as an integral part of the Screening and Audit Team, she is well versed in all aspects of contractual compliance and ensures all of our client requirements are met.
Prior to working for Equiniti Hazell Carr Lauren was a Sales Administration Manager for a Utilities Company where she developed her knowledge and skills within Administration. Lauren’s experience enables her to review and maintain existing standards and introduce new best practices into the Quality Assurance area of the business.
During her spare time Lauren enjoys watching live music and supporting up and coming bands in the area.
