With over 20 years' experience in the financial services industry, Sue Bartlett has worked in areas such as technical pensions calculations and leading major client projects on-site.
Starting her career at Barclays, Sue joined Equiniti Hazell Carr in 2000 and was appointed Head of Sales in 2006. She was later appointed Business Development Director in 2008.
During Sue's time at Equiniti Hazell Carr, she has worked with a great number of major blue-chip organisations including banking groups, life and pensions providers and regulatory bodies.
Sue assumes Directorial responsibility for all the sales functions at Equiniti Hazell Carr and works closely with the Operations team to ensure clients receive the best service in the market. Her ascent through Equiniti Hazell Carr, wealth of knowledge and expertise in the industry has provided her with a valuable insight into the changing demands of the market.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys running, cycling and interior design.
Since joining Equiniti Hazell Carr in February 2004, George Xenoudakis has worked across an enviable list of our clients, including most of the UK’s major financial organisations.
He’s now responsible for over 20 of our key clients in the banking, life and pensions, and insurance sectors.
Since joining the company, George has been responsible for leading the sales process, account strategy and relationship management for his client portfolio and has played a leading role in securing a number of large resourcing and outsourcing projects.
George joined Equiniti Hazell Carr after nearly a decade in Customer Service and CRM Outsourcing, working for organisations such as ICL/Fujitsu and Vertex, where he was involved in large scale multi-site, multi-channel and multi-lingual projects.
His wealth of knowledge and experience enables him to add real value to Equiniti Hazell Carr's clients. George has a BSc in Marketing and Sales from the American college of Greece and an MSc in Management from the University of Surrey.
He is married with two children.
Anthea Coulter's career began in 1988 for Royal Insurance in the motor claims department. She later transferred to Royal Life, where she worked with IFA's and tied agents (appointed reps) underwriting life risks, providing quotations and suitability checking of advice on fact finds. It was here Anthea realised the importance of building relationships and managing expectations. This grounding assisted Anthea's moves first into complaint handling and then the pensions review, where she led an in-house team and worked in partnership with Equiniti Hazell Carr to deliver a re-work project for Phase 1 of the pensions review. Supporting this experience, Anthea also completed financial planning qualifications.
In line with a strong desire for a customer facing role, Anthea was appointed Relationship Manager at Zurich Financial Services in 2003, where she built up strong and solid relationships with key customers. Having not lost touch with Equiniti Hazell Carr, and wanting to enhance her career path further, Anthea joined the team in 2011 and now looks after 30 key accounts.
Here, her operational experience together with her regulatory knowledge means she firmly understands clients’ needs and delivers on outcomes.
Anthea is happily married to Nigel and has a daughter and step son.
Selena Tye began her career as a commercial underwriter at Guardian Insurance in 1993. In 1995, she was given the opportunity to join the Commercial Underwriting team at Royal Insurance, where she developed her Underwriting skills further.
During this time, Selena built strong relationships with insurance brokers and customers and was promoted to Business Development Underwriter, leading a team of in-house Underwriters within two national brokerages. She was keen to build on this and therefore joined Zurich Insurance in 2001 as a Risk and Insurance Consultant, where she managed and retained a high number of key accounts and increased the existing client base due to the strong relationships that she had built.
After 11 years with Zurich, Selena wanted a new challenge and joined Equiniti Hazell Carr in December 2012, where she looks after a portfolio of key clients across the financial services industry.
Selena lives in Staffordshire and is married with 3 children.
With 20 years' experience, Dan Denyer has worked on a variety of projects from small scale remediation exercises to large scale programs including pension review, endowment review, bank charges and PPI.
In his most recent role Dan was the Head of Customer Services for a large pan European accident and sickness provider and was responsible for managing the outsourced customer services department, claims department and complaints department.
Dan joined Equiniti Hazell Carr in August 2016, but has previously worked with Equiniti Hazell Carr as a contractor on client site in a variety of roles, including working as an adjudicator at the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Dan brings a wealth of hands on experience in operational delivery which gives him a unique insight into the financial services market.
In his spare time Dan enjoys spending time with his partner and three children.
After graduating from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Politics, Dave Paton joined the Equiniti Hazell Carr team in 2000.
Having started out as a Pension Review Specialist, Dave has gone on to gain sound, hands-on operational expertise. This includes projects in endowments where he has also held an Operations Manager post.
With experience working both onsite and offsite, managing our DB outsourced third party arrangement, Dave also set up and worked on a specialist regulatory body project for the business. In 2008 Dave became Operations Manager.
Dave’s transition through the business has enabled him to experience both outsourced and in-sourced arrangements ensuring that he's well placed to find effective ways to add value and enhance processes for our clients.
In his spare time Dave enjoys playing rugby for Harwell.
From 2005 Nicholas Wilshin has been responsible for writing, co-ordinating and managing all Equiniti Hazell Carr's bids and proposals. Working closely with the team throughout the bid process, he supports all aspects of client delivery, from designing solutions to meet customer needs, through to implementing new projects.
Central to the on-boarding of a wide variety of client requirements across the insurance, banking and advisory markets, Nicholas has over a decade of financial services, resourcing and outsourcing experience to draw upon.
Prior to joining Equiniti Hazell Carr, Nicholas worked for Legal & General, which helped him to develop a strong understanding of financial services products, the regulatory environment and customer services.
This range of industry experience is coupled with an MA from Cardiff University, as well as CII and CIM qualifications.
Nicholas is married and enjoys the countryside of Wiltshire.
Since 2008, when Joel Priest joined the Equiniti Hazell Carr team, he has put his recruitment and resourcing experience to great use. He brings to the table experience as a recruitment consultant for Ranstad, where he looked after the resourcing for their blue chip financial service clients including PwC, KPMG and Ernst and Young.
Joel specialises in graduate resourcing and regulated services and it’s his job to ensure the country’s high calibre graduate specialists join the Equiniti Hazell Carr team.
Joel studied at the University of Reading before embarking on a career within financial services. Outside of work Joel spends most of his time playing in a function band at weddings and corporate events.
Kirstie Gotsell has worked for Equiniti Hazell Carr since 2004 when she joined as a Senior Resource Consultant. In 2009 she became responsible for Business Support Functions.
Prior to working with Equiniti Hazell Carr Kirstie gained seven years' of recruitment industry experience, including managing the recruitment process for Yell’s UK-wide telephone sales and field sales operatives on behalf of Contact III, owned by Pertemps Recruitment Partnership.
Managing large teams and focused on all parts of the recruitment process, Kirstie’s experience enables her to improve and implement internal processes and add value by increasing efficiency within the Resourcing Team.
Kirstie is married with a young son and step daughter.
Ian Saunders started his career in Financial Services with Prudential, moving to the Group Pensions area in the mid 1980’s. In 2002 Ian moved to Hazell Carr (subsequently Xafinity) with the outsource of Prudential’s insured Defined Benefit pension administration area.
Since then he has undertaken management roles within the Administration , Treasury and Finance Departments. For 7 years Ian was the Pensions Operations Manager in Reading for the outsourced Prudential book.
Ian moved to the Business Development Team within Hazell Carr in 2015 to head up the pensions desk. Utilising his pensions operations experience Ian’s role is to build and develop the pension recruitment desk to service both current and future clients, with a focus on interim placements.
Ian lives in South Oxfordshire with his wife and 2 children.
Jason Hampshire joined Hazell Carr 2001 on Pensions Review after several managerial positions across a number of industries. This has provided him with a broad knowledge of people skills and management techniques.
Working on the first endowment project to be undertaken by Hazell Carr, Jason subsequently progressed to successfully deliver numerous remediation projects at both Technical and Operational Manager levels across all Hazell Carr sites.
With the responsibility for setting up and implementating numerous projects with major clients both on Hazell Carr sites and also Client offices, Jason works with our clients to assess their practices and identify solutions to drive service improvements. He uses his considerable experience to provide innovative solutions to improve efficiency and standards for clients who work within regulatory frameworks.
As the Operations Manager in our Cardiff offices, Jason is responsible for the delivery of all projects in complaints and pension work.
He is married with two children and enjoys travelling.
Beth Hagger has been a part of the Equiniti Hazell Carr resourcing team since July 2016 when she joined as a Resource Consultant.
Prior to joining Equiniti Hazell Carr Beth managed her own desk as an IT recruiter. During her time in this role she specialised in IT design, resourcing for UI/UX designers and working with various London based independent IT design houses. This helped her to develop a strong working knowledge and understanding of contracting and managing clients’ requirements.
Beth currently lives in Reading.
Lauren Moore joined Equiniti Hazell Carr in March 2014 as Resourcing Administrator. and in June 2016 Lauren became responsible for the Screening and Audit functions. Since joining Equiniti Hazell Carr Lauren has established herself as an integral part of the Screening and Audit Team, she is well versed in all aspects of contractual compliance and ensures all of our client requirements are met.
Prior to working for Equiniti Hazell Carr Lauren was a Sales Administration Team Leader for a Utilities Company where she developed her knowledge and skills within Administration. Lauren’s experience enables her to effectively manage a team of Administrators whilst reviewing existing standards and introducing new best practices into the Quality Assurance function.
During her spare time Lauren enjoys watching live music and supporting up and coming bands in the area.
Lauren is currently studying her CIPD in Human Resources.
