Customer Service Agent - £150 per day

The role of Customer Service Agent will be working on an existing project assisting customers with their help to buy product. You will be working on a hybrid basis from the client office in Cardiff.

We are looking for customer centric individuals that can both handle queries on the phone and provide administrative support to the team. The role of Customer Service Agent will be working on an existing project with a major provider of help to buy finance products.  

Location: Central Cardiff - Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days from home

Training: 1 week to be completed from the office, which will be conducted 9am to 5:30pm before moving to shifts.

The rate on offer is £150 per day via Umbrella.

Hours:  37.5 hrs per week Monday to Friday between the operational hours of 8am to 8pm, with alternate Saturday mornings from 9am-1pm.

When a Saturday is worked the time is given back in lieu by working shorter days during the week. Shifts will be decided a month in advance so you know in good time which Saturdays you will be required to work.

Contract: 6 months 

Strong face to face/over the phone customer service skills are desirable as well as some previous experience dealing with customer complaints.

As a Customer Service Agent, you will:

  • Manage inbound calls from customers to discuss any question or queries they may have relating to their help to buy loan and updating the system with any notes from the call.
  • Having great quality conversations with customers to prevent avoidable events and complaint.
  • Spotting potential complex queries / complaints and escalating where required to ensure a fair outcome.
  • Provide a clear and efficient response within company guidelines.
  • Updating the client database with all key information accurately.
  • Working to client and regulatory policies and procedures at all times.

In order to be considered for this role you must have the following skills: 

  • Good experience in a Customer Service setting, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong PC navigation skills and use of Microsoft office applications.
  • Fantastic organisational and collaboration skills to ensure the team’s success.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills 
  • Pro-active and adaptive to succeed at challenges.
